Maximize the utility of your tailgate with the Huracan Fabrication Tailgate Storage Mod. Crafted from laser-cut steel, this durable addition allows you to securely store recovery tools or spare parts in the previously unused space of your tailgate.
Installation requires some metal removal from your tailgate, but we provide a comprehensive step-by-step guide and a template to assist you in determining which sections need to be cut. Common tools such as tin snips, jigsaws, or angle grinders can be used for this process.
The kit comes standard with a black powder-coated finish and includes all essential installation hardware. To minimize noise and prevent damage within your tailgate, sound-dampening foam is also included in the package.
An optional Lid Protector, made from robust polycarbonate akin to cutting board material, is available. This is highly recommended for frequent heavy-duty use, such as regularly loading and unloading heavy items, standing on the tailgate, or using it as a cooking surface.
A marine carpet finish is also optionally available.
