The National Luna NLDC-25 Dual Battery Isolator and Charger is a robust DC battery charger and isolator designed for dual battery systems. It can charge an auxiliary or house battery via a vehicle's alternator or solar panel, with a charging current of up to 25A. Compatible with both conventional 12V and 24V alternators, including smart alternators, it features an integrated MPPT charge controller supporting solar panel outputs up to 375 watts. Panels with higher power ratings can also be connected, with solar voltages up to 42 volts supported. The NLDC-25 uses a six-stage charging process suitable for all types of lead-acid and automotive-grade Lithium-Ion batteries. Three protection stages monitor battery condition and can detect defective or non-chargeable batteries. A temperature compensation feature adjusts the output voltage to ensure optimal and safe charging under different environmental conditions. An optional control display (NL-BMS-30101, available in our webshop) can be connected to provide system and battery status information via a high-contrast LCD screen. The device is IP67 certified, making it suitable for harsh conditions, and offers protection against reverse polarity, overvoltage, excessive temperature, and high charging currents.
