Developed and manufactured for professional use, the MaxTrax Xtreme incorporates feedback from military units, off-road racing champions, 4WD racers, and hobby 4x4 enthusiasts.
Manufactured in Australia using MaxTrax's secret formula, these tracks are built tough with super-strong, high-tech reinforced nylon. The unique production process involves a custom mold attached to a robotic arm to position the alloy teeth correctly, ensuring the nylon fits snugly into the thread of each tooth for a secure fit. All 88 teeth are hard-anodized to protect against saltwater and muddy environments.
The alloy is significantly harder and more durable than the rubber composition of tires, offering better resistance to wear from spinning tires for a quicker, safer connection to the tire tread.
The sand tracks are easy to repair on the go. If a tooth gets damaged, simply turn the board over and use a T-50 Torx bit to remove and replace the damaged tooth. MaxTrax employs a patented thread and blip lock system to ensure the new tooth stays firmly in place. A special tool kit is optionally available.
