The MaxTrax Xtreme is crafted for professional use, drawing from feedback from military units, off-road race champions, 4WD drivers, and hobbyists.
Xtreme tracks are manufactured in Australia using MaxTrax's secret formula of ultra-strong, high-tech reinforced nylon. The manufacturing process involves a custom mold attached to a robotic arm that aligns the alloy teeth, ensuring a secure fit with the nylon. Each of the 88 teeth is hard-anodized to withstand saltwater and muddy conditions.
The alloy is significantly harder and more durable than rubber compounds, providing a safer and faster connection to the tire tread. The tracks are easily repairable on the go. If a tooth is damaged, simply flip the track over and use a T-50 Torx bit to replace the tooth. MaxTrax employs a patented thread and blip lock system to ensure secure replacement. A special tool kit is available optionally.
