The MaxTrax Xtreme is developed and produced for professional use based on feedback from military units, off-road racing champions, 4WD drivers, and hobbyist 4x4 enthusiasts.
Xtreme tracks are manufactured in Australia using MaxTrax's secret formula; designed for heavy-duty work, incredibly strong, high-tech reinforced nylon. The manufacturing process involves a custom mold attached to a robotic arm that places the alloy teeth in the correct direction. This ensures the nylon fits securely with the thread of each tooth, providing a super-secure fit. All 88 teeth are hard-anodized to protect against saltwater and muddy environments.
With an alloy significantly harder and more durable than the rubber composition in tires, it's better resistant to wear from spinning tires, allowing for a faster and safer connection on the tire tread.
The sand tracks are easy to repair on the go. If a tooth gets damaged, you can flip the board over and use a T-50 Torx bit to remove and replace the damaged tooth. MaxTrax uses a patented thread and bliplock system to ensure the new tooth stays securely in place. A special toolkit is optionally available.
