This Tailgate Storage Mod requires self-installation, including the removal of some metal from your tailgate. To aid in this process, we provide step-by-step instructions and a template indicating necessary material removal. Tools like tin snips, a jigsaw, or an angle grinder can be used for this purpose.
The kit comes standard in a durable, black powder-coated finish and includes all necessary installation components. Additionally, it features sound-dampening foam to prevent noise and damage inside your tailgate.
An optional Lid Protector is available, made from robust polycarbonate, the material used in chopping boards. This addition is highly recommended if you frequently load heavy objects, stand on your tailgate, or use it for cooking.
Marine Carpet finish is also available as an option.
