Utilize the space in your tailgate that would otherwise be wasted with the Tailgate Storage Mod from Huracan Fabrication. Crafted from laser-cut steel for a robust attachment within your tailgate, this innovative storage solution allows you to carry recovery tools or spare parts.
This Tailgate Storage Mod requires self-installation, which involves removing some metal from your tailgate. To assist, we provide step-by-step instructions and a template to indicate the precise material to remove. You can accomplish this with tin snips, a jigsaw, or a grinder.
The kit comes standard with a black powder-coated finish and includes all necessary installation hardware. Additionally, sound-dampening foam is included to prevent noise and damage to the inside of your tailgate.
The optional protective layer, the Lid Protector, is made from durable polycarbonate, resembling the material of cutting boards. This layer is highly recommended when frequently loading heavy objects, standing on your tailgate, or using it as a surface for cooking.
