Optimize the use of otherwise wasted space in your tailgate with the Huracan Fabrication Tailgate Storage Mod. Expertly crafted from laser-cut steel, this accessory allows you to securely store recovery tools or spare parts within your tailgate.
Installation requires some modification, including the removal of metal from your tailgate. To assist with this, we provide step-by-step instructions and a template to show precisely what material needs to be removed. This can be done with tin snips, a jigsaw, or an angle grinder.
The kit comes standard with a black powder-coated finish and includes all necessary installation hardware. Sound-dampening foam is also provided to eliminate noise and prevent damage inside the tailgate.
An optional Lid Protector made from durable polycarbonate—the same material used for cutting boards—is highly recommended if you frequently load heavy objects, stand on your tailgate, or use it as a cooking surface.
A Marine Carpet finish is available as an option as well.
