Crafted from laser-cut steel, it is designed to be securely installed into your tailgate. The added space can be utilized for recovery tools or spare parts, providing practical storage solutions.
This Tailgate Storage Mod requires self-installation, including some metal removal from your tailgate. We provide a step-by-step guide and a template to clearly outline which material needs to be removed. This can be done using tin snips, a jigsaw, or an angle grinder.
The kit comes standard with a black powder-coated finish and includes all the essentials for installation. It also comes with sound-dampening foam to prevent annoying noises and damage to the interior of your tailgate.
The optional protective layer, made of durable polycarbonate—the same material used for cutting boards—is highly recommended if you frequently load heavy objects, stand on, or cook on your tailgate.
