Like it’s big Brother the “Junior” is a rugged “must have” product for your expedition.

The Ostrich Wing Junior is a slightly smaller version of the popular Ostrich Wing. The “Junior” backing plate length is 2m vs. the Ostrich Wing backing Plate length 2.55m. Making the “Junior” ideal for smaller SUV’s and Double/Extra Cabs.

The Big Country Ostrich Wing Junior is a robust awning made of 320gsm rip-stop canvas, supported by aluminum frames. This awning will provide you with as much as 7m² of shade in less than 30 seconds and can be set up and folded by one person.

The Big Country Ostrich Wing is a legless awning, which means that in calm weather, it is not necessary to use support legs. However, one support leg is included for added stability in windy conditions. When using the optional available side wall kit or when using the awning in extreme conditions, it is advisable to purchase two additional support poles. These can be easily attached to the designated support points under the arms, which are standard on the awning. The support poles are available separately in our webshop.

The aluminium frames are built from purpose made extrusions, constructed in a “truss” design and pivotted on nylon bushes to provide unmatched sturdiness.

Awning canvas available in grey (in a black storage bag).

There is also an LED lamp set available that fits into the frame.
